Booties and Socks!

One of my favorite trends is pairing heel booties with long socks. I just think it makes an outfit look more put together and can turn something from simple to fashionable. In the summer, you can wear socks that go just above the shoe to show off your legs and have cooler look (temperature wise haha). In the fall, you can throw on a cardigan and some knee or calf high socks! What do you guys think?

1D Style: Niall Horan

Let's talk about the style of Niall Horan, a member of the successful international boy band One Direction. This Irish lad has the most chill look of the boys, keeping it very casual.

Niall keeps his style very clean and casual: fitted t-shirts, polos, loose-fitting pants, high-tops, and snapbacks. Out of all the guys, his style is the most simple, showing that just because you're famous doesn't mean you have to go all out with your style. 

When performing, you will sometimes see him pair his outfit with a nice cardigan.

My favorite style choice of Niall's is when he wear tank tops. First, they show off his arms which are nicely toned, as seen in the photos above. Second, it shows that he has a very laid-back attitude and would rather be comfortable than look like he stepped out of a photoshoot for GQ magazine.

1D Style: Harry Styles

Let's take a look at the curly-haired cutie, Harry Styles! Known as "The Ladies Man" or "The Flirt", Harry's style choices have changed drastically since One Direction's early days. Let's take a look at his transition into a fashionable young lad. 

During his time on X-Factor, Harry's fashion choices were very...um...interesting. As you can see, he did not have a set style. He mostly wore hoodies, a puffed vest, sweats, and baggy jeans. With the schedule he had plus having to bring clothes from home, it's understandable why he did not try as much. But who really had the time to focus on his clothes with his beautiful voice, adorable face, and luscious locks being the most attention-worthy. 

Fast-forward to the release of their first album and Up All Night tour, Harry Styles started to be more conscious about what he was wearing - mainly because of the sudden fame and all eyes being on the band's every move. First, blazers were a BIG thing for the heart-throb, usually paired with fitted t-shirts and pants. He also tended to wear over-sized sweaters paired with fitted pants and faded ankle-high boots. Occasionally, he would sport a beanie giving his style a more hipster feel. In 2013, his style changed yet again.  

He took more chances with his style, giving it a more mature look. Other than beanies, Harry started wearing fedoras which gave him a "Johnny Depp" vibe. He went from fitted to skinny jeans and started wearing different styled shirts other than fitted tees. His style is very much his own and make him his own person outside the band, something his band-mates also do.  

For his 19th birthday, he wore a shirt from Burberry Prosrsum Fall/Winter 2013 collection. From this, you can see he is starting to become more style-concious.

1D Style: Zayn Malik

We are looking at one of the best boy band in world's style. Next on our 1D Style is the Bradford bad boy himself, Zayn Malik. Almost everything about Zayn is evolutionary, except his loving personality. He has been a bit experimental in style and hairstyles.

Zayn's style takes on more of an urban, laid-back, and badass feel. He has been seen in varsity jackets, graphic tees, Nikes, and black skinny jeans. His approach to style is casual, but when he dresses up in a suit, it always looks effortless, stylish and cool. Along with his dashing good looks and tattoos, Zayn is one fashionable guy!



















We say Zayn looks good in color especially red, but his best is in black. Like this all black look to the right. And let's not forget his hair. He has always had the quiff but when he decided to put a blonde streak in his hair, the ladies went crazy. But let's not forget momentarily when his hair was brushed down and spikey for their trip to Japan. His hair is one of the staples that makes Zayn...well, Zayn! We love the fact that he really cares about his looks and takes time to maintain it. The tattooed cutie has always stayed true to himself which is one of the reasons the ladies love him.

1D Style: Liam Payne

We are taking a look at the style of the world's best boy band right now, One Direction! Next we're looking at Liam Payne. Liam is known as "Daddy Direction" seeming that he is the sensible of the group. Although Liam's style hasn't changed as much as his band members, his hair is always changing causing us to wonder what's next for the lovely locks of Liam Payne.

                 

                                  
Liam's style is quite simple, he has been seen in plaid shirts, basic tees and pair of jeans. Easy right? We really admire Liam in shirts that show off his toned biceps and tattoos.What we like about Liam is that values comfort over all and he his still charming no matter what. But lets take a minute to talk about his hair.

He hair has changed more than anyone else's in the group! He went from straight hair (that he use to straighten himself) to a curly "Harry Stylesque'"fro, a short side swoose (If that is even a word, lol) to now a buzz cut. Liam's hair is always changing and fans have often said that they know around what time something 1D related happened just by his hair. But with that smile Liam, we don't care about your hair! Cool right?
